My journey with Covenant

By today, I have been in Covenant for 15 and half months. My family and I move on to Covenant on 15th April 07. I treasure every moment of my learning journey here. Any learning opportunity, you can find me there. My christian journey of more than 30 yrs cannot even compare to the 1 year I spent in Covenant EFC. I learned much all in one year. It is just so exciting, I looked forward going to church not just Sundays, even Saturdays actitives where I join the prayering mothers. I learnt to pray more effectively by using the scriptures, praying God's word for others and for ourselves.

Since the day I step into Covenant, they come up with many new ministries. I have opportunity to join the Pick a partner's programme for singles( making right choices), Women in Covenant and Lay Counselors. It is my calling to become the people's people. And the Lord has led me into where He wants me to be. Isn't this amazing? It took the Lord 5 yrs to equip me in the process. 5 represent Grace period. The last stage was at Covenant, it is very much an eye opener for me. I witness life change of people in difficult circumstances. I witness people being delivered from their mess in their life through their sharing of testimonies.

It is real authenticity, there is no pretentious spirits. People just let go and let God do a deep work in their lives for transformation to take place. All I know is, this is a praying church. A church that constantly on their knees. Praise the Lord! Amen.
